Mind-Body Ritual #4: Heart-Center Clarity Breath

Seated upright or lying face-up
Breathing Pattern
INHALE through the nose
EXHALE through the nose
Intention
Bring awareness to the heart-center. Connect breath with heart rhythm. Peace and Clarity.
Practice
Place your left palm over your heart-center (middle of chest/sternum)
Place your right palm directly on top of your left palm
Close your eyes and bring awareness to your heartbeat
Feel the rhythm of your heart beneath your hands
Begin to breathe slowly and deeply through your nose
With each inhale, imagine drawing breath directly into your heart-center
With each exhale, feel your shoulders and chest relax
Continue breathing, syncing your breath with your heartbeat
Feel the expansion in your chest with each inhale
Feel the gentle contraction with each exhale
Stay present with this connection between breath and heart for several minutes
Allow thoughts to pass without attachment, returning focus to the heart-center
This practice helps develop heart coherence and brings the nervous system into balance. By focusing on the heart-center, we create a bridge between the mind and body, finding clarity through the wisdom of the heart.
